About Us

For over 65 years the Urban League of Union County has been serving its community, surrounding areas and nation-wide with the National Urban League

The Urban League of Union County (ULUC) has been involved in Union County, NJ since 1952 on a mission to enable African Americans and other disadvantaged communities to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights.

The Urban League of Union County has it's objective to become the premier community-based organization in Union County.  Not only in service provisioning, but additionally in marketing outreach and office efficiency. 

The Urban League of Union county runs the following programs for individuals and families to take advantage a be a part of in the Union County area:

  • Housing Counseling

  • Employment Counseling

  • Re-entry Counseling/Case Managment for ex-offenders

  • Teen Pregnancy Prevention Counseling

  • Alternative to Incarceration

  • Emergency assistance for rent/mortgage, utilities, and food

  • Youth Employment
